Use of the Basque language and planning
We prepare diagnoses of the situation of the Basque language and design Basque language plans in both private and public entities to generate changes within the organization. We offer advice on the design, development and evaluation of plans, as well as support for obtaining linguistic quality certificates.
We develop participatory processes to design public policies that activate the use of the Basque language in different territories and municipalities, prioritizing intersectionality, collaboration and coordinated participation.
We direct strategic processes for the normalization of the use of the Basque language in the public sector. We also elaborate, develop and evaluate diagnostics and designs according to the integral KEMEN system.
- Based on the guidelines for the use of the two official languages of the ACBC, we design and implement processes for the development of strategic plans, management plans and the establishment of linguistic criteria.
- We offer consultancy to the administrations to respond to Decree 19/2024 on the standardization of the use of the Basque language in the Public Sector. We offer as follows:
- Processes for the creation or updating of linguistic criteria
- Processes for the development of communicative functions in jobs
- Processes for incorporating the language approach into training plans
- Advice on the assignment of language profiles in jobs
- Training sessions for technical and political leaders on leadership in language management
We provide training sessions to promote the empowerment and language leadership of working group members and guide process sessions.
Translations and linguistic resources
Elhuyar offers professional and quality translations. They are translations with a guarantee of quality, since our team translates only to their mother tongue(s).
