Elhuyar's goal is to continue to respond to societal challenges in the field of language technologies and artificial intelligence. In this direction, in front of the technological giants, it has now taken one more step by creating the first automatic dubbing platform in the Basque Country.

Automatically doubling an audiovisual to another language will be very easy from now on: simply upload the content, translate it into the chosen target language and click the dubbing option. In addition, the user will be able to see at all times the result he is obtaining and, depending on his needs, will be able to modify this result at each step of the process.

From now on, Aditu will offer all these doubling possibilities, so it goes from being a subtitle creation platform to including the possibility of folding them automatically. The objective of the platform will be to facilitate the process of creating multilingual audio-visual, and will incorporate new possibilities such as the option of imitating the voice and converting the subtitles into voice.

Thus, the Aditu platform will henceforth have the following 3 main uses:

1.Automatically create transcripts and subtitles of videos and audios and modify them if necessary.
2.Both transcripts and subtitles may be automatically translated. The tool will offer the ability to visualize and adapt them.
3.The doubling option may be used. When creating the target voice, there will also be different options: choosing a voice for each of the speakers (voices created by Elhuyar), imitating the original voice, maintaining or removing the background audio…

Aditu is a platform of growing utility in many areas: in audiovisual production, to increase content accessibility; in public administration and companies, to create new communication possibilities; in industry, to interact with machines and people through voice… All these possibilities offered by Aditu can be consulted on the web aditu.eus.

This platform, based on artificial intelligence and neural networks, uses state-of-the-art technology developed by Orai, a technology that is constantly being updated. It particularly protects confidentiality and security, as all contents are treated confidentially.

All these technologies have been developed at the Orai Artificial Intelligence Center. Orai is a centre specialising in the NLP (Natural Language Processing), created three years ago by Elhuyar with the aim of providing companies and institutions with high-level intelligent technological research and solutions and improving the competitiveness of the industrial fabric, the efficiency of administrations and the lives of people.

In addition to the automated transcription and translation systems integrated into Aditu and the systems to generate custom voices, Orai has several open lines of work, including the development of integration of this type of tools into the industrial environment and smart business aides. It offers the possibility to create multilingual solutions in these languages: Basque, Spanish, French, English, Catalan, Occitan, Aragonese, Galician, Italian…
