Dissemination and scientific education
Our team has professionals from science, pedagogy, journalism, education, engineering and management, who are involved in the dissemination of a wide offer. Our clients include, among others, the Basque Government, the Provincial Councils, the BRTA Alliance, the Bilbao City Council, the Pamplona City Council, the Elgoibar City Council..., as well as various companies, development agencies, Teknika, EHU, MU and EITB.
We create and offer projects to disseminate scientific content to Basque society in both written and audiovisual formats or for the Internet, and we also work with innovative media (for exhibitions, campaigns...). We report on scientific news with the help of research staff in our environment and we place special emphasis on environmental issues and those related to gender equality, young people's mental health, critical thinking and the interaction between science and society. Our work is based on teamwork and adaptation to the needs of customers.
We collaborate with municipal and county agencies and agents to organize and structure talent and actions that serve as inspiration for the future professional aspirations of youth. We draw up and propose actions from a Community perspective, always on the basis of scientific research and on the basis of a first local diagnosis.
We set up educational programs in the municipalities to offer children and young people various experiences related to science and technology in their free time. We propose to them to experiment, interact with each other, develop projects and solve different challenges through a solid technology, enriched with various values.
We have a multidisciplinary team, close, young, experienced and expert, capable of offering close references and responding to the gender gap present in science and technology.
We make presentations of events and organize and direct round tables. We also offer scientific workshops in municipalities, as well as training sessions and conferences for both teachers and the general public on topics such as critical thinking, or the relationship between science and gender. In addition, we offer scientific shows and experiments for all ages designed for leisure time and we develop programs on very diverse topics.
We have 30 years of experience in the audiovisual world: television, radio and podcasts. We produce corporate videos to report on scientific and technological developments. We can prepare them in Basque, Spanish, English and French, and we also offer subtitling and dubbing services. We integrate the advances of artificial intelligence into our audiovisual products, specially designed to adapt them to other languages from the Basque language.
We make diagnoses on various topics such as STEAM positioning, the energy and ecosocial transition, and the mental health of women and young people. And, based on these diagnoses, we develop awareness campaigns, participation processes and intervention programs.
Elhuyar has been producing educational materials for girls, boys and young people for many years. We do it in different formats and formats, such as research programs, guides and didactic routes, among others. We incorporate new technologies and artificial intelligence into our work.
