Azpeitia Itia

Analysis of the use of women and men's time and design of an intervention plan: We have developed a project to analyze the social use of the time of the men and women of Azpeitia. The main objective has been for the inhabitants of Azpeitia to reflect on their daily practices, and to be aware of the imbalance in the distribution of tasks between women and men, especially with regard to unpaid domestic tasks and care work; and to also reflect on the consequences of this imbalance for women. To encourage reflection, we have conducted a survey, we have programmed video conference screenings and we have promoted some reflection sessions with different groups (parents, mothers, caregivers, seniors…).
