The colloquium cycle “In the Light of Women Scientists” is organized jointly by Elhuyar and Donostia Kultura. Three sessions are scheduled for this spring: 25 March, 29 April and 20 May. The talks will be at 19:00 in the hall of events of the house of culture Ernest Lluch.

Through personal interviews led by Ana Galarraga Aiestaran, scientific discoverer of Elhuyar, we will have the opportunity to meet three women scientists who work in different fields: Elisa Sainz de Murieta Zugadi, Miren Basaras Ibarzabal and Mirene Begiristain Zubilwaukee.
The objective of this project is to meet women scientists, because in the history of science and technology the contributions of women have been relegated and hidden, and even today discrimination against women is still evident in this area.
